Innovative communication technology
Whether headsets or other communication media: the CT-MultiPTT 3C automatically recognizes the connected devices thanks to CT-ComLink® identification and sets the optimum audio configuration for perfect voice transmission. The CT-MultiPTT 3C is able to connect both analog and digital sources. Whether radios, tactical hubs, cell phones or intercoms: this control hub builds a unique technological bridge between analog and digital communication.
Particularly robust
The CT-MultiPTT 3C is robust and can withstand even the most adverse environmental conditions. An important feature of this software-defined product is that the hardware remains unchanged in the long term as a permanent basis for continuously evolving software. The housing of this innovative control unit is made of impact-resistant, UV-resistant and non-reflective material and has been tested in accordance with MIL-STD-810H with regard to climate, shock, vibration and drop. The robust operating unit is waterproof and dustproof, and is classified to IP66 and IP67. It is also resistant to sweat and saliva, chemical substances and weak alkalis, oils, greases and passes the salt spray test.
Energy supply
The CT-MultiPTT 3C is supplied with power via one or more connected radio devices. The very economical power consumption ensures a long service life for the connected components. If several radios are connected, this control unit distributes the power consumption automatically.
Clever operating concepts
The interaction between the user and the CT-MultiPTT 3C must function smoothly in complex operational situations. To this end, CEOTRONICS has developed three operating concepts for different operational scenarios in close cooperation with professional users and optimized them with a view to maximizing the benefits for the user.
Secure communication
The combination of CT-ComLink® technology and state-of-the-art digital voice signal processing enables reliable, clean channel separation and thus prevents the effect of unintentional or accidental crosstalk between radio channels that are to be kept separate.
The extremely robust ODU plug-in connections of the CT-MultiPTT 3C are designed with break-away technology and automatically release for emergency unlocking from a defined tensile force.
Simple, direct and intuitive to use
The CT-MultiPTT 3C has a large, clearly tactile front PTT. This makes it easy to operate even when wearing gloves. This ensures a high level of communication reliability, even in critical situations. The large multifunctional rotary controls can be gripped securely thanks to the guide grooves. The acoustic and haptic feedback enables intuitive and quick adjustment of the operating menu and separate volume control of the connected communication circuits. Additional function keys allow direct access to programmed additional functions of the connected radio devices. When using a cell phone via the integrated Bluetooth interface, the call can be controlled via one of the function keys. The CEOTRONICS voice menu with auditory feedback allows all basic settings or configuration changes to be made quickly, easily and intuitively: when navigating through the operating menu, the user of the CT-MultiPTT 3C receives feedback on the current setting as a spoken audio signal. Another advantage: the CT-MultiPTT 3C can be controlled remotely using the small, lightweight CT-WirelessPTT MIL.

Clever operating concepts
Interaction between the user and the CT-MultiPTT 3C must be simple, intuitive and safe in complex situations. To this end, CEOTRONICS has developed three operating concepts in close cooperation with professional users and further optimized them with a view to maximizing the benefits for the user.
With the 2out4 operating concept, communication takes place via two of four channels – three wired and one via Bluetooth. One channel is always active as the primary circuit on the right ear. For output to the left ear, you can select and switch between the other three channels. The 3out3 or 3out4 operating concepts are used when it is necessary to hear information from three channels simultaneously.
- With the 3out3 operating concept, all three channels are connected by cable, with channel 1 being output to the right ear, channel 3 to the left ear and channel 2 to both ears.
- With the 3-out-of-4 operating concept, there is always a Bluetooth connection and only two connections are wired. The Bluetooth channel automatically assigns itself to the channel with a free slot and is output accordingly via the ear(s).
