If an express warranty period for a product is listed in an offer or order confirmation, CEOTRONICS grants a worldwide warranty for the respective product for the defined period in accordance with these warranty conditions. The warranty does not apply to products for which no warranty period is specified in the offer or order confirmation. The warranty period is calculated from the invoice date. The guarantee relates to the freedom from defects of the product, including functionality, material or production defects. Should a defect occur during the warranty period, CEOTRONICS shall, at its discretion, provide one of the following services within the scope of these warranty conditions:
- free repair of the product or
- Free replacement of the product with an equivalent product (successor / replacement product)
The warranty period is not extended by a warranty service.
CEOTRONICS grants a warranty of 1 year from the date of the repair service on repairs carried out by CEOTRONICS (including spare parts).

Germany Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the product caused by:
- Wear and tear
- Use of force (e.g. beatings)
- improper use or connection with or installation in unsuitable parts (e.g. parts that do not originate from CEOTRONICS or do not comply with the operating instructions)
- chemical, electrochemical or electrical influences
- harmful environmental conditions that were unknown to CEOTRONICS
- Changes to the product made without the consent of CEOTRONICS
- Repair attempts on your own initiative or by persons and companies other than CEOTRONICS
- Defects caused by improper use (e.g. use of force), incorrect operation and negligent handling
- Non-compliance with operating and maintenance instructions
- Non-compliance with safety precautions
- Transportation
- Storage
Warranty claims are also excluded for damage to:
- Hygiene articles
- Batteries / rechargeable batteries
- Consumables
The prerequisite for claiming warranty service is that CEOTRONICS is enabled to examine the warranty case (e.g. by sending in the product). Damage to the product during transportation must be avoided by using secure packaging. When applying for warranty service, a copy of the invoice of the shipment of goods must be enclosed so that CEOTRONICS can check whether the warranty period has been observed. Without a copy of the invoice, CEOTRONICS may refuse to provide warranty service. This manufacturer’s warranty does not limit the statutory rights of the buyer against CEOTRONICS arising from the purchase contract concluded with CEOTRONICS. This warranty promise does not affect any existing warranty rights (in accordance with the current version of CEOTRONICS’ General Terms and Conditions of Sale, available at www.ceotronics.com). This manufacturer’s warranty does not infringe the customer’s statutory rights, but rather extends his legal position. If the product is defective, the customer may in any case contact CEOTRONICS under the existing warranty (in accordance with the current version of CEOTRONICS’ General Terms and Conditions of Sale, available at www.ceotronics.com), irrespective of whether a warranty claim exists or the warranty is invoked. Further claims, in particular for damages of any kind, are excluded. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected by these guarantee conditions. These guarantee conditions are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
