Research and Development
We develop the communication systems of tomorrow
Our research and development team includes more than 20 highly trained personnel consisting of PhD and electronics engineers, as well as highly trained technicians from various disciplines. Our core competence lies in our ability to fully map all aspects of the development of complex electronic products. We offer sophisticated electronic, mechanical and software design from a single source. We develop modular, expandable solutions that are then refined and maintained in practice together with our customers.
This close and trusting collaboration with our customers gives us a very good insight and understanding of the challenges our customers face on a daily basis and how they use our products. This enables us to conduct targeted research into new approaches and develop new products that not only offer you technological progress, but are also intuitive to use and future-proof.
To achieve this goal, we continuously invest heavily in research and development. In recent years, this has increased steadily and amounted to more than 12% of turnover across the Group in the 2023/2024 financial year. We endeavour to actively enter into partnerships with renowned research institutions in order to drive our projects forward and rely on the use of state-of-the-art technologies.
Reliability guaranteed: Our measuring and testing equipment
With our state-of-the-art measuring and testing equipment, we are able to carry out various tests in-house in accordance with the latest DIN, EN and IEC standards. This ensures that maximum reliability is guaranteed right from the start.
#EMC laboratory: to ensure interference immunity and interference emission to other electrical devices
#Acoustics laboratory: with Bruel & Kjaer head and body simulator for detailed measurement of electro-acoustic components and with high-level loudspeaker system for environmental simulations up to 130 dB (A) noise
#Cable test station: for endurance tests of our cables for the highest requirements
#Climate chamber: for simulating temperatures from -65 °C to +180 °C
#Water chamber: for simulating rain, water jets and submersion
#Diving chamber: to simulate various diving depths of up to 100 m
#Dust chamber: for checking the dust protection
#TETRA base station: for radio system tests under real network conditions
Recognition for our performance: We are proud award winners
Our CT-DECT Multi is a mobile, digital full-duplex communication system for local applications. It was developed using the latest technologies and is designed for use in various user groups. In 2019, we successfully set ourselves apart from strong competition and won the coveted DECT Award "Innovation" at the openD Launch Conference in Nuremberg.
In June 2023, we were awarded the coveted seal of approval for in-house research on a full-duplex DECT-based stand-alone wireless system by the Certification Centre for Research Grants (BSFZ). The new CT-DECT Case, probably the most flexible digital wireless intercom base, is suitable for the most adverse environmental conditions and can set up a self-sufficient communication network for up to 12 subscribers who can communicate with each other simultaneously.
In November of the same year, we were identified as one of the most innovative companies in Germany in a scientific survey conducted by the SZ Institute of the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In comparison with 2,575 other companies, we achieved 23rd place. We are delighted to have received this award, which once again confirms our high level of innovation and our future-orientated thinking and actions. |
