Professional communication technology for every police operation

CEOTRONICS products have proven themselves thousands of times over in use by the police for around 40 years. It uses the highly specialized control units as well as headsets or DECT systems. On this page you will find examples of professional applications. Our team will be happy to advise you personally with regard to your individual requirements.

Large-scale operations

Large-scale operations

Clear communication in real time – this is a crucial prerequisite for successful large-scale police operations. Whether it’s a demonstration, sporting event or large events such as concerts or festivals, the incident command and police forces must remain in constant communication everywhere.

CEOTRONICS has the reliable and robust equipment for this: the CT-MultiPTT 3C for incident command ensures secure coordination via up to four communication channels. With the CT-ClipCom Digital in-ear headset, this works without any problems even in noisy environments. It can also be worn under a safety helmet like the CT-Neckband headset.

The CT-MultiPTT 1C Plus has two independent communication circuits – one wired and one via Bluetooth. Like all push-to-talk buttons from CEOTRONICS, it is particularly robust and, thanks to CT-ComLink® technology, flexible in the selection of connected radios, headsets or intercom systems.

All CT-MultiPTTs can be controlled wirelessly externally via the remote CT-WirelessPTT MIL control unit if no hand is free.

Traffic monitoring

Traffic monitoring

Effective traffic controls and road safety measures only work for the police as a team. Reliable and smooth communication between team members and with the control center is essential to ensure that the emergency services can coordinate these important tasks quickly and safely.

CEOTRONICS products have already proven themselves thousands of times in police operations. For example, the CT-MultiCom, the user-friendly, robust handheld microphone with two push-to-talk buttons, which can be easily connected to all standard radios. Its emergency call button can be quickly activated with the thumb in dangerous situations.

The CT-MultiPTT 1C Plus is also in demand . This control unit can be used for both wired and Bluetooth communication. Thanks to CT-ComLink® technology, it recognizes connected headsets and ensures automatic audio configuration – regardless of whether it is a CT-Neckband, CT-ClipCom Digital or a product from a third-party manufacturer.

In situations where no hand is free, the CT-MultiPTT 1C Plus can also be controlled remotely via the CT-WirelessPTT MIL.

Special and special applications

Special and special applications

Highly complex operations require uncomplicated, perfectly functioning communication. This is the only way that all emergency personnel can concentrate on the essentials during special police operations.

Products from CEOTRONICS are the first choice for the police. A stable DECT radio circuit for up to 12 subscribers is set up via the CT-DECT Case as a basis, ensuring latency-free communication at close range. A radio circuit can be extended by up to 5 users via the CT-DECT Multi. However, the CT-DECT Multi also functions as a self-sufficient, wireless full-duplex communication system.

The CT-MultiPTT 3C for communication in up to four communication circuits and the CT-MultiPTT 1C Plus provide excellent equipment for the emergency response team. Like the CT-DECT systems , both offer maximum flexibility in the selection of connected radios, cell phones connected via Bluetooth and headsets thanks to CT-ComLink® technology. In really noisy environments, the CT-ClipCom Digital, for example, is recommended.

Communication for armored vehicles

Communication for armored vehicles

Communication with the crew of armored police vehicles and all those involved in the operation must be efficient and secure at all times. The communication system is crucial to the success of such high-risk operations.

CEOTRONICS AG offers DECT systems that guarantee reliable full-duplex communication in real time at all times: CT-DECT Case and CT-DECT Multi. Thanks to CT-ComLink® technology, they enable smooth interaction in an existing communication architecture consisting of intercom systems, radios, headsets and cell phones connected via Bluetooth.

The CT-DECT Case establishes a stable DECT radio circuit for up to 12 subscribers, ensuring latency-free communication around the armored vehicle. The CT-DECT Multi enables a wireless full-duplex communication system with up to 5 subscribers. Both systems can interact with each other. Optionally, they also allow confidential communication via a stand-alone radio circuit. The premium CT-ClipCom Digital in-ear headset ensures optimum communication and maximum hearing protection, even in the noisiest of environments.

Explosive ordnance disposal and EOD/IEDD

Explosive ordnance disposal and EOD/IEDD

Maximum concentration and focus on every action characterize the work of the explosive ordnance disposal service. During explosive ordnance disposal operations, communication between all police, fire department and technical relief services must be reliable and without delay – even when there is no visual contact.

For latency-free, autonomous short-range communication, CEOTRONICS offers DECT systems that have proven themselves hundreds of times in the field. The CT-DECT Case can be used to set up a stable DECT radio circuit with up to 12 subscribers for the operations line. The CT-DECT Multi ensures communication for up to 5 users. This can be easily connected to the Med-Eng™ EOD® 10 helmet thanks to the CT-ComLink® direct connection.

The CT-ComLink® technology ensures problem-free connection with common radio devices, cell phones connected via Bluetooth and headsets. The CT-ThroatMike Comfort with throat microphone and headset is ideal for smooth communication in a full protective suit. The lightweight and robust CT-CombiCom headset can also be worn under a hard hat and can be individually adjusted to the shape of the head.

Push-to-talk over IP/POC

Push-to-talk over IP/POC

In covert or tactical operations where police officers need to communicate discreetly, traditional radios are often less useful. If both hands need to remain free, a remote control unit is required.

CEOTRONICS has developed the CT-WirelessPTT MIL for such requirements. It can be easily connected to a cell phone via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Individual functions of the app used can then be assigned to the buttons on the CT-WirelessPTT MIL and executed at the touch of a finger. The buttons then provide tactile feedback.

This (sm)all-in-one controller can be attached to the wrist with a wristband or simply to clothing. This means that even in stressful situations, the user is connected to the control center or other units at the touch of a button via PTT over IP/POC. In addition to cell phones, the CT-WirelessPTT MIL naturally controls all control units from the CT-ComLink® family as well as radios or tactical hubs from other manufacturers.

Communication in protective suits

Communication in protective suits

Chemical accidents, explosive ordnance clearance, risk of infection – there are many different scenarios in which protective suits have to be worn. The same applies to all of them: communication with the control center and other emergency services must function perfectly and in real time.

CEOTRONICS has DECT systems in its product portfolio for this purpose: With the CT-DECT Case, a stable DECT radio circuit with up to 12 subscribers can be set up for the control center. The CT-DECT Multi ensures latency-free communication for up to 5 users.

CT-ComLink® technology ensures perfect interaction between the radios, intercom systems and headsets used. The special headsets from CEOTRONICS are particularly suitable for working in NBC protective suits: the CT-ThroatMike Comfort with throat microphone and headset, the CT-ClipCom Digital with certified hearing protection and external noise reception and the extremely flat and lightweight CT-Neckband headset. All of them can of course also be worn under safety helmets.
