Effective communication solutions for demanding industrial applications

CEOTRONICS products have been used successfully for years in noisy working environments, on construction sites or for heavy-duty transportation. On this page you can discover what the DECT systems, headsets and push-to-talk units can do for smooth communication. Are you interested in a customized solution? Then please contact us directly.

Communication for noisy environments

Communication for noisy environments

Noisy machines in metal processing, large compressors or conveyors – in these and similar working environments, personal protective equipment (PPE) is just as important as interference-free and delay-free communication.

CEOTRONICS products combine both requirements in one communication solution. One basis for this is the mobile CT-DECT Case for short-range communication with up to 12 participants. The integrated Bluetooth function allows mobile radio communication to be added to the DECT radio circuit. With the CT-WirelessPTT MIL, communication works at the touch of a finger – hands are free for work.

Up to 5 other members of the work team can be connected via the CT-DECT Multi. In the noisy environment of an industrial hall, the CT-HN headset with PSA EN 352 is ideal for this purpose. It offers a high level of sound insulation and is equipped with a noise-compensating electret microphone.

Alternatively, employees are perfectly equipped with the CT-DECT headset. The over-ear headset with integrated DECT transmitter and receiver unit for up to 5 users can be combined with CT-DECT Multi and CT-DECT Case. Its external noise microphone ensures that warning signals and ambient noise can be heard despite effective hearing protection.

Full-duplex communication for construction sites

Full-duplex communication for construction sites

On construction sites, several teams and machine operators often work on different tasks at the same time. Real-time communication – with the crane operator, for example – is crucial for a safe and more productive working environment.

This is the experience of users of CEOTRONICS products, which guarantee reliable full-duplex communication. A crane operator, for example, is ideally equipped with the CT-DECT Multi. This allows up to 5 participants to communicate at close range – without any technical delay. Smartphones can also be conveniently connected via Bluetooth. The DECT system can be controlled remotely via CT-WirelessPTT MIL. This leaves your hands free to work. The extremely lightweight CT-Neckband headset ensures excellent communication. It fits under any helmet. The CT-DECT headset – the short-range communication system for up to 5 participants – can also be worn under the safety helmet. It can be easily combined with the CT-DECT Multi.

Difficult to access and confined spaces

Difficult to access and confined spaces

Working under difficult conditions in confined spaces or shafts also poses challenges for the communication of the teams involved. It must function perfectly at all times.

CT-DECT technology offers a reliable solution for interference-free communication, even when two separate teams need to interact with each other. The DECT radio circuit from CT-DECT Multi in conjunction with the CT-DECT headset for 4 users is interconnected with the radio circuit of team 2 – user 5 – from other CT-DECT Multi units. In the event of significant sources of interference, such as thick concrete walls or electromagnetic interference, a physical cable connection ensures DECT reception between the two teams. Important: Both CT-DECT Multi and CT-DECT Headset enable autonomous short-range communication for up to 5 users. The radio circuits can be interconnected.

Both the CT-DECT headset and the CT-Neckband headset connected to the CT-DECT Multi can of course be worn under a safety helmet.

CT-DECT for heavy-duty transportation

CT-DECT for heavy-duty transportation

Clear, reliable and delay-free – this is how communication between the driver, escort vehicle and coordinators must work during heavy goods transportation.

The DECT systems from CEOTRONICS are the first choice for this: as a mobile base station, the CT-DECT Case connects up to 12 participants in short-range communication – wired via a ComLink interface to radio devices or wirelessly via the Bluetooth connection. Additional users can be integrated with the CT-DECT Multi. The extremely lightweight CT-Neckband Headset or the CT-HN Headset are particularly suitable as connected headsets for communication in very noisy environments.

Alternatively, the team can communicate via a headset with an integrated DECT system during heavy-duty transport: the CT-DECT headset can set up a short-range radio network for up to 5 participants. It can of course be integrated into the CT-DECT Case or CT-DECT Multi radio circuits.

Full-duplex communication means that all participants in the radio circuits can speak and listen at the same time without having to wait any longer for the other party to transmit. This is particularly important when fast, uninterrupted communication between all parties involved is required during heavy transport.
