Communicate perfectly in high noise levels

Communication in extremely noisy environments is a major challenge. However, trouble-free communication is essential for ground handling of military jets, maintenance work on the aircraft or engine tests. This is why CEOTRONICS has developed the CT-NoiseProtection Helmet. It ensures optimum communication quality and hearing protection in extreme noise ranges up to 140 dB(A). The skullcap contact microphone ensures clear speech transmission. Four microphones ensure external noise reception (ASR) despite perfect sound insulation. You can find out more about the functions and benefits of the CT-NoiseProtection Helmet on this page. Our team will also be happy to inform you personally about its outstanding features and possible applications.

Advantages

Skullcap contact microphone

With the CT-NoiseProtection Helmet, structure-borne noise is picked up directly from the head by a contact microphone mounted in gel. This ensures clear speech transmission without disturbing ambient noise and external sound influences.

External noise reception (ASR)

With its four external noise microphones, the CT-NoiseProtection Helmet enables perfect directional hearing from the surroundings. Despite the helmet’s high level of sound insulation, this also ensures that warning noises can be heard.

Certified hearing, head and eye protection (EN 352, EN 812, EN 166)

The specific design of the helmet shell, the spacer fabric with the gel padding optimally matched to the hearing protection shells achieve an outstanding sound attenuation value of SNR 39 dB(A) with the CT-NoiseProtection Helmet. The helmet also offers protection against head injuries caused by impact or flying objects. To protect the eyes, full-vision goggles with interchangeable lenses of the “Uvex ultrasonics” type can be worn. A clear or tinted visor is attached to the helmet itself.

Robust and protected against dust and splash water

The CT-NoiseProtection Helmet is particularly robust and protects even under the worst environmental conditions. It has been tested for climate, shock, vibration and drop in accordance with MIL-STD-810G and is protected against the ingress of solid foreign bodies, dust and water when fitted (IP 54 in accordance with DIN EN 60529).

Automatic audio configuration

Thanks to CT-ComLink® technology, the connected headset is recognized by the communication medium and the optimum audio configuration is set for perfect voice transmission.

Lamp holder

In unfavorable lighting conditions, a lamp holder (Sidewinder Compact) integrated into the visor mount allows a lamp to be easily attached.

Connections

The CT-NoiseProtection Helmet can be connected to all control units and communication devices of the CT-ComLink® family via the CT-ComLink® connector.
