CEOTRONICS AG welcomed the Hessian Minister of the Interior, Prof. Dr. Roman Poseck, to the company headquarters in Rödermark in its anniversary year “40 years of CEOTRONICS”. The visit underlines the great importance of the domestic security and defense industry for Germany’s internal and external security as well as its technological sovereignty.

Cutting-edge technology from Hesse for the police, military, fire department and disaster control

CEOTRONICS AG has been developing, producing and selling highly specialized communication headsets and systems, digital radio systems, video cameras and transmission technology for 40 years. These solutions are used by numerous state police forces, the German Federal Police, the German Armed Forces and professional and industrial fire departments, among others. Industrial customers such as Fraport AG also rely on the professional products from Rödermark.

As an official partner of the fire department and homeland security, the company also fulfills its social responsibility and makes an important contribution to the common good and public safety. With around 143 employees, CEOTRONICS generated consolidated sales of 55.8 million euros in the 2024/25 financial year.

Strengthening resilience and German technological expertise

During his visit, Minister Prof. Dr. Poseck learned about current developments and product innovations – such as the multifunctional CT-MultiPTT 1C and CT-MultiPTT 3C control units, which enable reliable communication in complex operational situations.

“Internal and external security must not be thought of separately. They are currently more intertwined than probably ever before, particularly due to hybrid threats. The challenges of our time can only be overcome together and with strong domestic technological expertise. With a round table, we are in close contact with the domestic security and defence industry in order to further strengthen the foundations of our defence capability from Hessen,” emphasized Minister of the Interior and Homeland Security Prof. Dr. Roman Poseck

40 years of safety-critical communication

Back in 2005, the then Hessian Minister of the Interior and later Minister President Volker Bouffier visited CEOTRONICS AG – an impressive sign of the long-standing, close relationship between politics and the Hessian high-tech company.
