40 years of CEOTRONICS: it all began with a vision
CEOTRONICS AG is celebrating its 40th anniversary this month. It all began in the early 1980s with a visionary idea: communication directly in hearing protection – as the key to greater safety, mobility and efficiency in demanding working environments.
Berthold Hemer and Hans-Dieter Günther had the courage to turn this vision – now a technological standard – into reality. In 1985, the development engineer and the businessman with strategic foresight jointly founded ComTronics GmbH, which soon became CeoTronics GmbH. One of the first products was the CT-Headset, which was specially developed for helmet-to-helmet communication in racing. Equipped with a noise-compensating microphone, it was technologically far ahead of its time.

Today, CEOTRONICS AG is one of the leading providers of mission-critical communication solutions for police, rescue and defense forces as well as customers from industry and aviation – with the highest standards of quality, reliability and technological future-proofing. The products are used worldwide and stand for innovation “Made in Germany”.
“We would like to thank all employees and business partners for their loyalty, hard work and competent support over the past four decades. Without the reliable and trusting cooperation – and without the open dialog across all vertical and horizontal structures – this success story would not have been possible,” said the Management Board of CEOTRONICS AG.
CEOTRONICS’ drive will remain the same for the next 40 years and beyond: To develop communication solutions for the people who matter. And for the situations when it matters. When it counts.
