CeoTronics wins major federal tender valued at several million euros // Order volume rises to around € 27.0 million (EN)
CeoTronics AG received the order to equip special police units with the newly developed multifunctional „CT-MultiPTT 3C“ radio set operating buttons as well as various headsets with CT-ComLink® technology. Another state police department will also equip their special units with these systems.
This order/contract will be processed with staggered partial deliveries and charging starting in fall of 2019 onwards.
Currently, the order backlog amounts to € 27.0 million (+300% compared to this time last year) and therefore quickly set a new order backlog record in the total of nearly 34 years of the company’s existence. The current order backlog is characterized not only by an extremely high value, but also by a high number of larger projects and above all the fact that many orders are processed over a longer period of time in several delivery lots and/or with several performance milestones. In this way, CeoTronics AG was able to achieve longer-term basic capacity utilization and create the prerequisites for business to continue to develop positively as continuously as possible.
The “CT-MultiPTT 3C” enables simultaneous connection and simultaneous operation of up to three media units (radio sets, intercoms or smart devices) as well as the connection of a headset. The idea for the CT-ComLink® technology – first presented in close cooperation with customers in 2010 – offers them a high degree of flexibility and future security when choosing and using different radio sets and headsets. CT-Bluetooth technology is integrated in the multifunctional control button so as to adapt even wireless media.
“CeoTronics was able to come out ahead of the competition in this tender too. These new products as well as the CT-MultiPTT 1C and the 3rd generation of the CT-DECT JetCom system confirm our positioning in the premium segment due to the high market acceptance. The latest technologies, traditionally the best quality, the highest level of developer and consultant expertise as well as particular market proximity and understanding for the product application are the keys to our success,” said Executive Board Thomas H. Günther.
