All-round protected communication
Helicopters taking off or landing make normal communication almost impossible. Both the noise and dangerous situations – such as those caused by flying debris – also increase the risk of injury. CEOTRONICS has developed the CT-NoiseProtection Hood so that flight deck crews can communicate without interference and at the same time protect their hearing, head and eyes. The lightweight helmet shell with noise-compensating microphone and integrated hearing, head and eye protection enables wireless full-duplex communication in high-noise areas – for example on helicopter landing platforms – in conjunction with a CT-DECT system. You can get a first impression of the CT-NoiseProtection Hood on this page. For more information on this highly specialized helmet system, please contact your personal contact person.

Advantages
Noise-canceling microphone
The noise-compensating electret microphone on the flexible microphone arm filters out disturbing ambient noise. Speech is therefore transmitted particularly clearly.
Certified hearing, head and eye protection
The CT-NoiseProtection Hood offers an excellent sound attenuation value of SNR 29 dB(A). The helmet shell also provides reliable protection against injuries caused by a head impact against a hard, immovable object. To protect the eyes, it is possible to wear “Uvex ultrasonics” full-vision goggles with interchangeable lenses in clear or gray. The CT-NoiseProtection Hood complies with the EN 352, EN 812 and EN 166 standards.
Connections
The CT-NoiseProtection Hood can be connected to all operating units and communication devices in the CT-ComLink® family via the CT-ComLink® connector. The communication medium recognizes it and sets the optimum audio configuration for perfect speech transmission.
Lamp holder
In unfavorable lighting conditions, a front-mounted bracket allows you to easily attach a headlamp to the CT-NoiseProtection Hood.
