Directive 2012\/19\/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)<\/strong><\/p>\n

What does WEEE mean?<\/strong>
\nWEEE stands for “Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment”. The implementation of the European Union’s WEEE Directive began in the EU member states in August 2005. It contains regulations on the recycling and correct disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment by manufacturers. The WEEE Directive is implemented by the individual EU national governments. CEOTRONICS’ WEEE directives<\/strong>
\nCEOTRONICS offers products in category 4 (large appliances for the exclusive use in households other than private households) and products in category 6 (small information and telecommunications technology equipment for the exclusive use in households other than private households), which are classified as business-to-business items under the WEEE Directive. As a producer, CEOTRONICS has implemented certain recycling\/disposal procedures, including registration with the official institution in Germany, so that the equipment is recognized under the Directive. The registration number (WEEE number) of CEOTRONICS AG is WEEE-Reg.-No.DE: 15466059. Upon customer request, we will take back CEOTRONICS products that have reached the end of their life and are covered by the WEEE regulation for recycling or disposal in accordance with the WEEE directives. Within the EU, affected customers must contact CEOTRONICS AG in R\u00f6dermark to obtain the relevant information and information on the disposal\/collection of old appliances.<\/p>\n

What is the WEEE marking?<\/strong>
\nCEOTRONICS WEEE products (or the packaging) are marked with the crossed-out wheeled garbage can symbol. It indicates that appliances must not be disposed of together with normal commercial or household waste.<\/p>\n

How is recycling\/disposal carried out?<\/strong>
